V portrétním cyklu Border zkoumá hranice dospělosti. Zobrazuje adolescenty, kteří už jsou dospělí, ale nejsou ještě muži. V hyperrealistické fotografické formě ukazuje čistotu obličejů, její křehkost a nepoznamenanost životem. Celý soubor je koncipován jako širší výstavní cyklus velkoformátových portrétů, kde je jedním z důležitých aspektů souboru precizní forma adjustace s užitím galerijního antireflexního rámování. Minimalismus jako vizuální přístup, kde je subjektivní zásah autora marginální, svou dokonalostí a apelací na veškeré detaily obličejů konfrontuje hyperrealistické malířství, kterému bývají předlohou právě fotografie. Soubor Border uchovává identitu aktuální generace teenagerů v psychologické, sociologické i vizuální rovině. Početnost portrétů akcentuje vyznění cyklu jako vhled do vnitřního světa portrétovaných.
In his portrait series Border, he explores the boundaries of adulthood. He depicts adolescents who are already adults but not yet men. In a hyper-realistic photographic form, he shows the purity of faces, their fragility and unmarked by life. The whole set is conceived as a wider exhibition series of large format portraits, where one of the important aspects of the set is the precise form of adjustment with the use of gallery anti-reflective framing. Minimalism as a visual approach, where the subjective intervention of the artist is marginal, confronts hyperrealistic painting, which is often preceded by photographs, with its perfection and appeal to all the details of faces. The Border series preserves the identity of the current generation of teenagers on a psychological, sociological and visual level. The multiplicity of portraits accentuates the message of the series as an insight into the inner world of the portrayed.
